An invoice should only be financed once.

Tavryn lets a supplier offer an approved invoice to several lenders in private. The first lender to pay gets it. The others are told it's taken, not who won, not the price.

The same invoice, sold three times.

A supplier waiting sixty days to be paid can sell its invoice to a lender for cash today. Each lender sees only its own deals, so nothing stops the same invoice being sold to several of them. The buyer pays once. The other lenders are left holding nothing.

A shared list of invoices would solve it, except no lender will publish its clients and prices to its competitors.

How it works

  1. 1

    The supplier issues the invoice.

Only the supplier and its buyer can see it.

  2. 2

    The buyer approves it, once.

The same invoice number can never be approved a second time.

  3. 3

    Lenders receive private offers.

Each lender sees the invoice and its own offer, nothing about the others'.

  4. 4

The first to pay gets it.

Payment is in Canton Coin. Every other lender is told the invoice is no longer available, and the buyer repays the winner on the due date.

Same invoice. Three different views.

Each company sees exactly what it needs and nothing more. Here is INV-4821 after Lender A has paid.

Not a promise. The network refuses the second payment.

On the HackCanton DevNet, two lenders paid for the same invoice at the same moment. The Canton network accepted one and refused the other. No company database involved.

The rules of the network (which lenders may join and how much of an invoice they may advance) belong to its admins together. One admin alone is refused; two of three apply the change.

Inside the app

One workspace, a page for each company. The supplier issues and offers, the buyer approves and repays, each lender sees only its own offers.

The supplier's page in the Tavryn app: a form to create an invoice and a form to offer it to a lender.

Built for supplier-finance programmes

Buyers

Approve each invoice once and give suppliers access to cheaper money.

Suppliers

Get paid now instead of in sixty days, with lenders competing for the invoice.

Lenders

Finance an invoice knowing nobody else is financing it, without showing your book.

See the second lender get turned away.

The demo has a supplier, a buyer, three lenders, an auditor and the network admins. Switch between them and run an invoice end to end.
